Painter Creek Lodge overlooks Mother Goose Lake, Painter Creek valley, and the spectacular Aluetian range. Located in the heart of the wilderness of the Alaskan Peninsula and accessible only by air, it is ideal for "getting away from it all". | |
|
Small and family style would be a good way to describe Painter Creek. We normally have a maximum of eight guests per week, allowing two guests per guide. Our friendly staff of guides, chef, and helpers all pitch in to make your week a memorable one. Accommodations consist of three duplex cabins for a total of six double rooms, each with its own bath and heater. A main lodge building is used for dining, relaxing, tying flies, or just sitting on the front porch. |

A typical day begins with coffee in your room at 7:30. No need to rush anywhere, our only competition are the bears! After breakfast, your group of two to three will depart with your guide for your destination via boat. A substantial box lunch with a choice of sandwiches is provided. All fishing is fully guided. Returning to the lodge after the day's adventures, hors d'oeuvers and beverages are waiting in the rooms. A hot shower soothes any aches and pains from catching too many fish! A delicious dinner, complete with complimentary wine and beer, rounds out the day. Breads, rolls, pasteries, and deserts are baked fresh every day. The only thing left to do is sit on the porch and make plans where to go tomorrow. |
